CHECK-IN TIME: You may access the lodge anytime after 3:00p on the day of your arrival. (If you desire an earlier check-in time, please contact us to discuss.)
DOOR CODE: You will receive a separate message from August that provides a personal keypad code to unlock the front door deadbolt and invite you to use a smartphone app.
HEATING: In colder weather (high less than 60 F), the lodge may be cooler than your desired temperature upon arrival. Pleasestart the propane and/or corn stove immediately. It can take an hour or longer to raise the temperature of the lodge to 67-74 degrees. Complete heating instructions and tips can be found here.
SNOW SHOVELING: During the winter months, you may need to shovel the walkways, front patio area, and decking. We have 2 snow shovels & a brush in the garage.
KID GEAR: All kids' gear, including crib, is located in the back-left bedroom (king bed) closet.
DOG STUFF: The dog kennel and gear are located under the living room stairs.
UTILITY ROOM: The utility room on the backside of the garage with storage, laundry, and bathroom, can be unlocked using keys (on a gold carabiner, labeled keys) that hang near the kitchen door on a hook. You may leave this door unlocked if at the lodge, but please lock it if gone for a significant amount of time.
GARAGE: The garage contains stuff for outdoor cooking and activities. It can be accessed through the utility room. The garage doors may be opened manually, but please close and lock them when not in use.
